A Message from the Head of School
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about our school.
This is a place where students are known, challenged, and supported every day.
We are an independent IB World School for students in Grades 4–12, located on Vancouver Island, surrounded by forest, lake, and the natural beauty of Mt. Baldy. We offer the Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme to local and international students who are curious, capable, and ready to grow.
What makes this school special is the people. Our staff, students, and families are committed, honest, and fully engaged. We show up for one another. We work together. We take responsibility for the kind of community we are building.
Learning here is active and connected. We take students outside. We give them meaningful work to do. We ask them to think for themselves and to care about others.
Our goal is simple: that students leave here ready to shape their own future and contribute to something larger than themselves.
While a website can offer a glimpse, it can’t fully capture what it feels like to be here. We encourage you to visit and experience our community in person.
