Step 2: Complete the Application

Step 3: Upload Supporting Documents

• Birth Certificate (local applicants only)

• Citizenship Document (international applicants only)

• Student Photo

• Two (2) Most Recent Report Cards

• Teacher Reference Form (you will be prompted to provide a teacher’s email address)

• IEP or Psychoeducational Assessment (if applicable)

 

Step 4: English Language Assessment

(Required for applicants whose first language is not English)

 

We accept:

• Versant English Language Assessment

• Duolingo English Test

• IELTS

• TOEFL

 

Step 5: Shadow Day

Beginning in mid-February, eligible applicants are invited to attend a Shadow Day—an opportunity to experience life at St. John’s firsthand.

 

Step 6: Student Interview

Once your application is submitted, our Admissions Team will contact you to schedule a student interview.

Step 7: Admissions Review & Decision

Following the interview and any required assessments or Shadow Day, families will receive an admissions decision via email:

Offer to Enroll

• Families have two weeks to accept the offer

• Enrollment is secured upon payment of a non-refundable deposit and completion of enrollment forms

Waitpool

• The student is qualified for admission

• A space will be offered if one becomes available

​

Not Aligned at This Time

• We feel that our program may not be the best fit for the student at this time.

  • Our goal is to ensure each student is placed in an environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and personally.

  • Families are welcome to reapply in a future admissions cycle.

 

Important Notes

• An application is considered complete once the application fee is paid and all checklist items are submitted

• Local day student applications are reviewed beginning in February, after re-enrollment, Shadow Day, and interview completion

• International applications are reviewed on a rolling basis to allow time for travel planning and visa processing

• Eligible applicants will be invited to a Shadow Day as part of the process
