The leadership team at St. John’s Academy Shawnigan Lake brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to student success. With experience in top-tier public and private schools—both in Canada and internationally—our leaders are united by a shared vision: to create an immersive, high-quality Canadian educational experience for every student.

Our leadership is divided into two core teams, each with a clear focus:

• The Senior Management Team (SMT) oversees the school’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that everything behind the scenes—from campus facilities to admissions and boarding—runs smoothly and supports the overall mission of the school.

• The Senior Educational Leadership Team (SELT) guides all aspects of teaching, learning, and student well-being. Their focus is on delivering academic excellence, nurturing personal growth, and upholding the values of the IB and Dogwood programs.
